Health & Wellness

Our dedicated HSE team creates a yearly health and wellness plan, dedicated to helping our people understand and manage all aspects of their health, including mental, financial and physical. We have a number of benefits dedicated to supporting our people's wellbeing.

Employee Assistance Program

WSP Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides short term free counselling and holistic support for all employees and immediate family members.  Our EAP is provided by Assure who are one of Australia’s leading mental health organisations for over 30 years. Assure’s holistic model of counselling, wellbeing coaching and evidence-based development programs assist individuals, teams and organisations across the entire mental wellbeing spectrum.

Work | Life Links

As part of our commitment to the diverse needs of our people, we have partnered with Work | Life Links to help our people better balance work and personal life. Work | Life Links is an external, confidential information and resource service that helps you find out everything you need to know about any type of dependent care, health and lifestyle service.

Fitness Initiatives

Our offices around Australia host various sporting and exercise initiatives, organised by our regional social clubs and building managers. WSP employees, contractors and immediate family members can also access a corporate discount for Goodlife Health Clubs across Australia.

Flexible Work

We believe that flexible work can support a more diverse workforce, and help our people to operate at their best.

Flexible Working hours

Our flexible working hours arrangement enables you to juggle your work duties with your personal commitments.  Full-time employees have the benefit of variable start and finish times while still completing the 37.5 hour work week requirement. Our core business hours are 10 am to 3pm where you are required to be present. Part-time career options allow you to retain entitlements associated with permanent employment, such as sick leave and annual leave. Commence part-time work after parental leave or to care for children or elderly, allowing you to enjoy more time with your family whilst balancing work commitments.

Hybrid and Remote Work

Our flexible approach to work means that our people can arrange to work in a way that suits them, provided they are able to meet their role responsibilities and that it does not adversely affect others in your team.

Self Funded Additional Leave

The self-funded additional annual leave initiative allows you to purchase up to 4 weeks additional annual leave every year. The additional leave is salary sacrificed. Purchasing extra leave is a great way to spend more time on recreational activities, with your children on school holidays or at other times of need.

Parental Leave

We appreciate that family is important, and to assist our employees to start or grow their families, we offer additional parental leave payments. WSP has committed to go above and beyond the federal legislation and provide permanent employees, who are primary carers, with up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave and up to 12 months of superannuation payments. Partners can take up to 3 weeks of paid partner leave at the time of their child’s birth.
