As WSP’s Director Sustainable Precincts and Infrastructure, Bernadette works on projects with targeted decarbonisation, social and environmental outcomes. Her background as a mechanical engineer brings skills in energy efficiency, carbon reporting and high performance building design.
Bernadette is an advocate for a more sustainable construction industry and participates in technical groups for the Business Council of Australia (BCA), Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and the Materials and Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance (MECLA). She is currently undertaking lead design roles for the New Women’s and Children's Hospital in Adelaide, the Southern Program Alliance as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project (Victoria) and the North East Link Central Package (Victoria).
Recognised for her active leadership in sustainable infrastructure, Bernadette won the Award for Excellence in Environmental Sustainability from the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) in 2016.
